"Horse" (Charcoal on Newsprint Sketch Paper circa 1992)

When I was in about 4th grade, my mother (or was it my grandmother?) bought me books on how to paint and draw (that I still have somewhere in storage I'm sure)... I learned how to draw horses really well and I wish that I still had the sketches I did back in 5th grade... this drawing (from 1992 or so) really pales in comparison. I still have most of the basics here but not nearly as much detail. This is yet another sketch I did in that newsprint sketch pad I had to get for the one art class I took at community college. I didn't mention before that the other reason I didn't take any more art classes was because the teacher was one of those hoity-toity art snob types who seemed to think it was his job to tell us how bad our work was. Way to kill a students dream jerkface! I wonder what he does now and if he still hates his job! :-P

Thanks so much for your interest in my art! :-)

I do other things besides art! The most exciting thing is that I am taking a one-year professional certification in Maritime Sciences and will be shipping out with my friend spring of 2016!  Please look at our website! :-)       ...   http://emunaendeavor.org/
